O3 Plus Townhall Discussion: Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights

In its effort to enhance peer to peer conversations, the UoN O3 plus working group organized a student’s town hall tagged, ‘who do I talk to about sex?’

The student town hall pulled a full theatre of over 500 students from all the 11 faculties and campuses. The students were engaged in a 2 hour heated conversation on what is sex and what it is not and how it affects a student’s wellbeing while in campus.

Office of the Dean of Students hosts a Talents Development Training

The yellow brick road leads to the Jumuia Conference Center Limuru, where the Office of the Dean of Students hosted a Talents Development Training Program from March 24 to March 26, 2022. The mighty band of 50 students selected from the winners of the UoN Talents Day held on December 9, 2021, marched down to Oz, where they would learn the nitty-grittys to harness, nurture and flourish with their gifts.

Briefing Session for the AICAT 2022/2023 Program in Israel

The Office of the Dean of Students and Career Services on Wednesday March 9 2022 held a detailed briefing session for final year students from the Faculties of Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine and Biosystems Engineering.

The session aimed at informing and equipping the students with information and knowledge about the Arava International Centre for Agricultural Training (AICAT) Program in Israel.

Economics Students Association (ECOSA) Career Talk

A Career Talk Organized by the Economics Students Association (ECOSA) took place on March 2, 2022 in Taifa Hall, Main campus. The Career Talk was attended by 180 Students. The theme of the event was "Employability after Covid-19 and exploring the skills-set required in the job market”

Various guests were invited to present on topics related to the theme. The topics discussed are as follows;

International Wheelchair Day Celebrations on Tuesday March 1, 2022 at the Graduation Square, UoN

The International Wheelchair Day is commemorated annually around the World on 1st March to celebrate the positive impact a wheelchair has on the lives of wheelchair users. The day is dedicated to celebrate the great work of people who provide wheelchairs, support and care for wheelchair users and make the World a better and more accessible place for people with mobility disabilities.
