UNSA Council 2022

The University of Nairobi is interested in the betterment of student`s life. So, if you feel that no one has heard your pleas for assistance, the office of the Dean of Students will be there to listen. The office is responsible for safeguarding student`s rights while also ensuring that students adhere to the provided Student Code of Conduct. This task is no small one, as it requires the officers to represent students’ welfare interests in the various University Committees, Appeal and disciplinary hearings and in special meetings and task forces. The officers work closely with other University Staff such as Faculty Deans and Directors, Halls Wardens, Medical Staff, Students Welfare Authority (SWA) Director as well as with student representatives to address students’ needs. Contact is also maintained with Government security agencies such as Police, Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and National Security Agency among others.
