68 TH GRADUATION CEREMONY – FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2022

The University of Nairobi wishes to inform all students who qualified for the award of
various degrees and diplomas at the end of last academic year (2021/2022) and members of
the public, that the 68th Graduation Ceremony will be held VIRTUALLY on Friday,
December 16, 2022 commencing at 8.00 a.m. at Taifa Hall. The event will be streamed

HULT PRIZE BOOTCAMP 4 ‘THE PROCESS OF IDEATION

Welcome to the fourth boot camp for the Hult Prize University of Nairobi 2022/23! This Wednesday, we shall be having an expert in the field of design thinking by the name of Michael Muiya. He shall be breaking down through the process of Ideation which is one of the stages of design thinking as we prepare for the OnCampus quarter finals that are fast approaching. Mr. Muiya is an interior designer by profession and but much more by passion!

The Future of Work is Online

The Office of Career Services in partnership with the University of Nairobi’s Ajira Digital Club (EKAZI), the Ajira Digital Program and eMobilis Mobile Technology Institute offered a free 4-day physical training and mentorship to University of Nairobi Students and Alumni from October 11-14, 2022 with 290 students attending.

Strategic Plan for Disability Mainstreaming developed

After the recently established Disability Policy at UoN; the disability mainstreaming committee spearheaded a retreat as one of its implementation efforts. The objective of the retreat was to develop a strategic plan and visualize the milestones towards the establishment of a Disability Support Centre.

The 2-day retreat was held on October 20-21,2022 at the Kenya Institute of Special Education and developed a strategic plan for 2023-2028 for Disability Mainstreaming at UoN.
