UoN Job Fair

The Confucius Institute at the University of Nairobi (CIUON) in partnership with the office of the office of the Dean of Students and Career Services hosted a Job fair aimed at providing job and internship opportunities to students at the university.

In order to help various employers/enterprises fill job vacancies and provide employment and internship opportunities to students, the UoN Students Job Fair 2022 was held in Taifa Hall, University of Nairobi Main Campus on 13th and 14th December, 2022 from 9.00 am.

The Job fair began with a plenary session in Taifa Hall where employers talked about their company backgrounds and informed students of the various opportunities they were offering. Afterwards students had the opportunity to walk through the different booths and interact with the different companies.

Some of the companies looking for employees include: ZhongWu E-commerce (Kenya) Co., Ltd., Stanbic Bank Kenya Limited, CBMI (Kenya) construction company Ltd., COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Kenya) Limited., Unique Brilliant Human Resource company limited, China Gezhouba Group Company, Sinoma East Africa (Kenya Branch) Co.，Ltd, China Road and Bridge Corporation(Kenya), CMInternational (Kenya)Information Technology Limited, China Young Tai Engineering Co Ltd., Yocean Group Ltd，Guangzhou Jiyuan Trading Company，Omnivoltaic Energy Solutions Kenya Co., Ltd，RARLON KENYA Construction Materials Company Limited，Kenwell Merchants limited, Wawuda.Kenya Ltd，Jingsh Ababu Advocates，Jack Africa Ltd，ZM Engineering Limited., Threestar Homex Ltd，Confucius Institute at the University of Nairobi, etc.

Once again, the University of Nairobi displayed its dedication to streamlining the transition of its students into the job market and building formidable employees ready to take on the workforce.
