The Hult Prize journey at the University of Nairobi has come a long way since we started this edition in September 2022. After various boot camps, training sessions, and 2 qualifying rounds, we have reached the on Campus final round, the most exciting phase!

Lapid Leaders Africa in collaboration with the UoN Office of Career Services invites the entire UoN Student body to our upcoming Webinar Dabbed "Reinvent Yourself for Success". 

The Webinar shall explore how to manage changes when reinventing oneself without getting stuck. The webinar is relevant for students in all classes. 

The University of Nairobi: A Powerhouse in the holistic Development of Students

The University of Nairobi’s Office of the Dean of Students and Career Services is one that has blazed the trail in its mandate to achieve the holistic growth, development and wellbeing of students. A reputation that has seen the office attract numerous accolades both within and without the University’s body. Emerging position two of twenty six within the university’s Central Administration Units for the financial year 2021/2022. At the Uongozi Career Awards the office was also recognized as winners in the category of the best Office of Career Services and Mr.

The University of Nairobi Talents Day

The University of Nairobi Talents Day third edition was truly one for the books. Hosted by the Office of the Dean of Students in conjunction with the University Nairobi Students Association (UNSA), on the 9th of December 2022, students from all across the 12 campuses of the University congregated at Taifa Hall to celebrated an recognize the diverse and immense talent among themselves.

TECNO JOB FAIR

The University of Nairobi office of Career Services in partnership with Tecno -Kenya held a Job Fair at Taifa Hall on Tuesday 29th November 2022. The Job Fair, themed work smart, start today sought to officially launch the Graduate trainee program. In this program, leading transsion brands such as Tecno, Itel and Infinix will recruit students and recent graduates and put them on a 6 monthly program with a high possibility of permanent employment based on productivity.

Dean of Students Office Celebrating Excellent Performance for FY2021/2022

The Office of the Dean of Students and Career Services was awarded number two position in the Central Administration Units. The Office has made tremendous strides and achievements over the last two years with improvement from position 24/26 to position 8/16 and now position 2/16.

Kisumu Campus Career Fair & Expo

The Office of Career Services is a critical department in the University that helps graduates to transit smoothly from learning to earning. This is achieved by developing essential competencies among graduates to groom them for the job market. The mandate of the Office therefore is two-fold, linking Graduates to the job market and enhancing the value of graduates through skills and competencies development.

The Office of Career Services in partnership with the University of Nairobi’s Ajira Digital Club (EKAZI), the Ajira Digital Program and eMobilis Mobile Technology Institute offered a free 4-day physical training and mentorship to University of Nairobi Students and Alumni from October 11-14, 2022 with 290 students attending.
