The Future of Work is Online

The Office of Career Services in partnership with the University of Nairobi’s Ajira Digital Club (EKAZI), the Ajira Digital Program and eMobilis Mobile Technology Institute offered a free 4-day physical training and mentorship to University of Nairobi Students and Alumni from October 11-14, 2022 with 290 students attending.

The main training areas were on:

1.      Data Management

2.      Digital Marketing

3.      Transcription

4.      Virtual Assistance

5.      Content Writing

The Office of Career Services has so far trained over 10,000 UoN students on optional sources of income through online work.  The future of work is changing dynamically and the online job market is growing by the day.

These skills will enable the students to become better equipped on alternative sources of income even before graduation.
