WEBINAR - UON@50:CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

The University of Nairobi was born on 1 July, 1970 and has therefore turned 50. The University Management has mandated several activities to be included in the golden jubilee celebrations at various levels. One of the activities is holding of webinars on research breakthroughs at the University of Nairobi as well as topical subjects involving local, national and global challenges and opportunities.

Lapid Leaders Africa is launching a new entry level path for recent graduates.They are looking for a combination of self-awareness, analytical skills, flexibility, teamwork, and the ambition to grow yourself. INCLUSIVE AFRICA VIRTUAL CONFERENCE 2020 - PROMOTING DIGITAL ACCESSIBILITY IN AFRICA

We are delighted to announce Haben Girma, an American disability rights lawyer of Eritrean descent is a keynote speaker at the Inclusive Africa conference next month. Haben was the first deafblind person to graduate from Harvard Law School and advocates for equal opportunities for people with disabilities. President Obama named her a White House Champion of Change. She received the Helen Keller Achievement Award, and a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. President Bill Clinton, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Chancellor Angela Merkel have all honored Haben.

UoN SCHOOL OF MEDICINE CLASS OF 1970 ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2020/2021

The UoN School of Medicine Class of 1970 Alumni led by Dr. Betty Gikonyo and Dr. Frank Njenga offers five (5) scholarships to bright but needy students in the School of Medicine (MBChB) for the first years who joined the University on 31st August 2020.

63RD GRADUATION SEPTEMBER 2020 ADVERTISEMENT

The 63rd Graduation ceremony will be held on 25th Friday September 2020. The colleges concerned are Colleges of Agriculture & Veterinary Sciences, Architecture & Engineering, Biological & Physical Sciences, Education & External Studies and ODeL Campus.
