Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA Group) is currently running their 2020 Graduate Recruitment program. RESEARCH GRANT PROPOSAL TRAINING, SESSION II, 2020

Now in its 9th year of annual training, the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Enterprise  shall offer three sessions in the  2019-2020 academic year. The hands-on participatory workshops, lasting three days each,  shall continue to strengthen the capacity of all participants to develop sound, fundable proposals to attract research funding. The second training session will be held on the 25th - 27th March 2020.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS - ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT & ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT COURSE - MARCH 2020 INTAKE

Applications are invited for admission to Integrated Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Audit (EIA&EA) course at the Wangari Maathai Institute for Peace and Environmental Studies (WMI). Course duration is three (3) weeks, from March 9, 2020 to March 27, 2020.

INVITATION TO A FEATURE DOCUMENTARY SCREENING - "THANK YOU FOR THE RAIN" AT THE WANGARI MAATHAI INSTITUTE - 29/01/2020

Thank You for The Rain is a collaborative film by Kisilu Musya, a Kenyan farmer and Julia Dahr, a Norwegian filmmaker. For five years Kisilu used his camera to capture the life of his family, his village and the impacts of climate change. He filmed floods, droughts and storms but also the real human costs of the crisis. During one violent storm that throws him and Julia together, Kisilu loses his home. The film then follows him as he starts building a community-based movement of farmers fighting the impacts of extreme weather.

University of Nairobi in conjunction with the World Bank brings you a public lecture by Pinelopi Koujianou Goldberg - Senior Vice President and Chief Economist, World Bank Group titled: "Trading for Development in Age of Global Value Chain".
