In partnership with the Office of the dean of students and Career Service, Jubilee Holdings hosted a one day career mentorship on the 28th of July  2022 from 8am to 5pm. The career mentorship, hosted at the Jubilee Insurance Head Office, Wabera Street, 8th floor, saw the attendance of 14 students from the University of Nairobi among many other students from different universities.

The students in attendance were drawn from an array of fields such as Insurance, Medicine, Nursing, Risk Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Actuarial Science, Nutrition, food sciences and several business courses. All comprising final year students that declared an interest in taking part of the mentorship program to gain the necessary skills that would prepare them adequately for the job market they were about to immerse themselves in.

Jubilee Holdings organized an astute team made up of CEO'S and Department Heads, rich in experience and knowledge that would take the students through the various sessions organized for the mentorship program. Some of the sessions would inform the students on possible career choices in the Insurance industry, personal branding, emerging trends in the industry, building a successful career journey while others informed the students on the available opportunities at the Jubilee Group. Certificates were awarded to all those who took part in the training.

The event was without a doubt successful and impactful. A step closer to making sure that students leaving the University of Nairobi are well equipped and prepared to take the job market by the horns and thrive.
