Students and Leaders Convene at Pan Africa Trade Summit to Discuss Financial Empowerment

In a groundbreaking summit held at the Catholic University of East Africa, students and their leaders from various campuses gathered for the Pan Africa Trade Summit. The summit was sponsored by noOnes, a pioneering financial communication app with an aim to empower young people by connecting them to global conversations and the world’s financial system.

During the summit, noOnes' Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ray Youssef showcased the transformative potential of noOnes for the Global South, highlighting noOnes capabilities to enable free messaging, trade various forms of payment on its marketplace, and facilitate peer to peer payments.

He emphasized that “Our goal is to solve financial discrimination. Billions of people in the Global South face international monetary controls that exclude them from the global stage. It's time to come up with ideas that offer an inclusive solution to strengthen economies and give people a fighting chance.”

The summit's focus on financial literacy is particularly crucial for students. As future leaders and innovators, they need a comprehensive understanding of financial management to make informed decisions that will benefit both their personal and professional lives. The summit stands as a testament to the importance of financial empowerment and inclusion. By bringing together diverse voices from across the continent, the event underscored the critical need for accessible financial tools and education.
