On 21st October 2022, The University of Nairobi Students Association embarked on its annual talent search. The activity aimed at recognizing and supporting students to develop themselves through talent.
Speaking during the event, The Dean of students Mr. Johnson Ireri Kinyua appreciated and recognized the good work done by the student’s association in ensuring that students are empowered towards excellency. He concluded by encouraging students to put more effort in whatever they are doing, because success is measured on what one has achieved.
Students from all faculties had a chance to showcase their talents and all categories of performances were held that made the function more competitive and diverse. The function underwent several stages that enabled students and organizers give credit to the best performance.
While awarding the best performer, the university of Nairobi students association chairperson, Ms. Melvin Thogo congratulated all teams that made to the final show and encouraged them to put more effort on their items. She gave an assurance that the student’s association will continue supporting and enabling students reach their goals. She went ahead to appreciate the efforts the university is putting in place to ensure that the students get an opportunity to showcase what they got.
Towards the end the invited guest who is also a popular Kenyan musician Brian Omollo alias Khaligraph jones took time to engage students as a form of developing them, he used his talent as a way of motivating and encouraging students.
