The University of Nairobi hosted its annual Compassion Day on Tuesday, 26th March, at the prestigious Taifa Hall. The program brought together esteemed guests, stakeholders, and well-wishers to offer a helping hand and support to the needy and academically bright students at the university.
The university has long been committed to supporting its needy students through the Office of the Dean of Students, in collaboration with various partners. At the moment, the institution boasts over 5,000 needy students who are at risk of dropping out due to challenges in meeting their financial needs, including school fees, accommodation, catering, upkeep, and material needs.
