The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) is an international organization dedicated to building a better world through higher education located in London, United Kingdom that has more than 500 members spread across the 50 countries in the commonwealth with University of Nairobi being one of them. The ACU has recently formed the East and Southern Africa (ESA) Regional Committee that has seven member universities in East and Southern Africa with the aim of strengthening regional and international collaboration across the Commonwealth, as well as links to the Caribbean and Americas, Europe, West Afica, South Asia and East Asia.
These member Universities are represented by their respective Vice Chancellors. Our very own VC Professor Kiama is the Chairperson of this regional committee that will ensure the objective of fostering partnerships and collaborations is met that can also benefit the students at these universities as well.
