THE PICK OF THE LITTER OUT OF THE 125,000 2019 KCSE STUDENTS GET TO JOIN UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI

The University of Nairobi will admit 313 of 630 students who scored an A in the Kenya Secondary School Certificate 2019 to study medicine, engineering and architecture which are competitive courses offered and most desirable courses. Prof George Magoha CS Ministry of Education touched on this when he said “The Ministry wishes to direct the universities offering those programs to establish why they are not attractive and implement corrective measures.” The CS also touched on PWDs (persons with disabilities) mentioning that 331 applicants have been given their top priority courses for which they met the minimum admission requirements. The UoN prides itself in its implementation of a strong disability mainstreaming policy including a pool of sign language interpreters ensuring that Deaf students have access to education.

We welcome the new learners onto the UoN fraternity: a world class university committed to scholarly excellence.
