The Office of Career Services in partnership with SightSavers International has organised an Inclusion Works program for Students with Special Needs/Disability  and is calling for applications to an online soft skills training program for job seekers with disabilities. The training aims to equip job seekers with skills to navigate the job market eg CV writing, personal branding, interviewing, networking etc. The training will be delivered online and has been made accessible to people with diverse disabilities.   The training is FREE of charge!

The project team (HORTIGREEN) composed of staff from Food Science, Nutrition and Technology as well as Wangari Maathai Institute has proposed an e-conference on 5-7 October, 2020.  This is the first E-Conference which is on “Sustainable Production and Consumption (SCP) Practices in the Horticulture Processing Sector”.  Other organizations involved are:- Fundacion SUSTALDE, Consumer Information Network (CIN) and Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS).

TARGET GROUP: Horticultural Processing MSMEs, Business Intermediaries, Service Providers, Researchers/Scholars, Government Agencies and the Civil Society

THEME:

Promoting Sustainable Production and Consumption Practices while seizing green economy opportunities in the Horticultural Processing Sector

The University of Nairobi turns 50 this year, having been inaugurated on July 1, 1970.  The University plans a full year of celebrations and, for that, we need a logo.  One that will capture the essence of the University as a great institution, bring out excitement and inspiration and blend well with or beside the Official University Logo.

A winner and two runners up shall be selected and awarded recognition and cash prizes.
