The University through the Office of Career Services is partnering with Lebenshilfe to offer Nursing opportunities for Graduates in Austria.

The partnership between Lebenshilfe and University of Nairobi is driven by the consideration to address Labor Shortage in Austria's Healthcare Sector The deployment of qualified Kenyan nurses to Austria aims to alleviate the acute shortage of skilled healthcare professionals in the country, ensuring the continued provision of quality healthcare services to the population.

The Office of Career Services and Lebenshilfe have organized an Information Session for graduates/students interested in these opportunities.

High Commission of India Scholarships

 

The High Commission of India, Nairobi, has sent notice of the Extension of Deadline for Study in India (SII) scholarship for AY 2021-2022. Please take note of the information below.

 1.     The Education Consultants India Limited (EdCIL), a government of India entity, is inviting  applications from Kenyan students for UG, PG & PhD scholarships under the "Study in India (SII)" programme for Academic Year 2021-22. Please find attached the brochure of Study in India.

2.      The SII program offers scholarships on an annual basis, this scholarship scheme covers admission fees, tuition fees, accommodation (room and boarding) costs, and food costs. Any costs and expenses outside the above mentioned are not considered under this scheme. Selection of candidates for award of SII scholarship is based on an online test administered to applicants. Final scholarship allocation is declared based on the merit list prepared. Only the students who qualify the examination are eligible to be awarded scholarships.

3.      The partner institutes (https://www.studyinindia.gov.in/InstituteSearch) also provide tuition fee waivers. Tuition fee waivers are given to deserving students by partner institutes in the ranges of 100%, 50%, and 25%. The number of fee waivers available, vary from institute to institute across the mentioned ranges. List of Indian Universities/Institutes participating in SII programme is also attached.
