The UoN Kili Rover Scouts offering transforming lives of juveniles at Remand Centers

The UoN Kili Rover Scouts Crew, a troop of 50 dedicated scouts and their patron, embarked on a transformative journey to Kakamega from September 12th to 15th, 2024. The expedition aimed at fostering community engagement, environmental awareness, and personal development through various activities, including visits to local institutions and environmental initiatives. The scouts interacted with children and juveniles at the Kisumu Remand Center, Shikusa Borstal Institution and Kakamega Remand Center, engaged in environmental conservation efforts, and explored the natural beauty of the Kakamega Forest.
