Student Information Session on the Huawei Management Trainee Program (HMTP)

The 2025 Huawei Management Trainee Program (HMTP) Recruitment information session took place at the University of Nairobi’s Taifa Hall on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. The information session offered in-depth information on how fresh graduates from September 2024 to December 2025 and final years can get opportunities at Huawei. About 250 students attended the session, where topics on CV writing, program qualifications, the Seeds for the Future program, and interview tips designed to assist graduates in their transition to employment were discussed.

Huawei Technologies (Kenya) specializes in the sales and services of products and solutions in the field of ICT, Cloud, Digital Power, and Devices. Huawei's products and solutions are serving more than 90% of Kenya's population, thus leading the Kenya ICT infrastructure market.

Since 2018, a total of 97 top fresh students have been absorbed by the internship management training program. These graduates not only grow into backbone members in the team, but also assume significant responsibilities in areas of very important business. Some of the positions available at Huawei include: Network Technical Engineer, Software Engineer, Network Planning and Optimization Engineer, Network Maintenance Engineer, Site Engineer, Account Manager, Product Manager, Solution Sales Engineer, Project Procurement Manager, and Project Supply Manager.
