The University of Nairobi is interested in the betterment of student`s life.So,if you feel that no one has heard your pleas for assistance,the office of the Dean of Students will be there to listen.The office is responsible for safeguarding student`s rights while also ensuring that students adhere to the provided code of conduct.This task is no small one,as it requires the officers to represent students welfare interests in the various University Committees,appeal and disciplinary hearings and in special meetings and task forces.
The officers work closely with other University Staff such as Faculty Deans and Directors,Wardens,Medical Staff,Students Welfare Authority (SWA) Director as well as with student representatives to address students needs.Contact is also maintained with outside agencies.
