Empowering Futures: First-Year Students Step into Career Mentorship at FBED

The University of Nairobi’s Office of Career Services successfully hosted the 2025 First-Year Career Mentorship and Student Support Services Sensitization Session for students in the Faculty of the Built Environment and Design (FBED) on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Space 108. The session, running from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, brought together distinguished speakers, faculty representatives, and industry professionals to guide new students as they begin their academic journey.

KILI ROVER SCOUTS AT THE 11TH WORLD SCOUT PARLIAMENTARY UNION ASSEMBLY

40 members of the University of Nairobi Kili Rover Scouts Crew and their patron, Dr. Josephat Gitonga had the honor of participating in two monumental international events within the scouting world:

• The 11th World Scout Parliamentary Union (WSPU) Youth Assembly at Kamwenja Teachers College, Nyeri (November 6–10, 2025), and

• The 11th World Scout Parliamentary Union (WSPU) General Assembly at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi (November 11–12, 2025).

University Hosts Multidisciplinary Career Fair & Expo 2025: Building Careers Across Disciplines

The University of Nairobi, through the Office of Career Services, in collaboration with the Advancement Office, the Confucius Institute, and the African Employability Summit, successfully hosted the 2025 Career Fair and Expo on October 16–17, 2025, at the Great Court, Main Campus.
