Career Mentorship for First-Year Arts and Social Sciences Students, Building Market-Ready Graduates

The Office of Career Services held a Career Mentorship Session for first-year students from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences on Thursday 04, September 2025, in Taifa Hall, University of Nairobi main campus. The session drew enthusiastic participation from first year students who were ready to be guided in making informed career decisions early in their university journey and to equip them with practical skills for the world of work.

First-Year Law Students Mentorship Session, Shaping Legal Careers

The University of Nairobi, through the Office of Career Services under the Dean of Students, held a Career Guidance and Mentorship Session for first-year Law students at the Faculty of Law, Parklands, on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. The goal of this session was to introduce new students to the realities of the legal profession and to help them align their talents, interests, and aspirations with suitable career paths.

Kili Rover Scouts Crew Inspires Thousands at Kenya Scouts National Educational Camp

From 2nd to 5th August 2025, the University of Nairobi’s Kili Rover Scouts Crew proudly represented the institution at the Kenya Scouts National Educational Camp held at the Rowallan Scouts Camp, where they engaged with over 5,000 young people from across the country. 

The Crew showcased student-led initiatives that address some of the most pressing challenges in our communities: 

 Scouts and Law – A program aimed at rehabilitating juveniles and reintegrating them into society as responsible and empowered individuals.
