The University of Nairobi’s Taifa Hall transformed into a vibrant display of cultural pride, unity, and artistic talent on Friday, October 25, 2024, as the university community came together for the annual Cultural Day celebration. 

On Friday, October 11, 2024, a group of outstanding students from the Confucius Institute at the
University of Nairobi (CIUoN) embarked on an exciting journey to China. They will participate
in a two-week "Chinese Bridge" Students exchange program, organized by Tianjin Normal
University. The group consists of 18 excellent learners, including 16 students from the
University of Nairobi and 2 students from the Statehouse Girls' High School, CIUoN teacher Ms.
Maureen Ooko will be as the chaperone.

The UoN Kili Rover Scouts Crew, a troop of 50 dedicated scouts and their patron, embarked on a transformative journey to Kakamega from September 12th to 15th, 2024. The expedition aimed at fostering community engagement, environmental awareness, and personal development through various activities, including visits to local institutions and environmental initiatives.
