On Monday, May 12, 2025, the University held a comprehensive induction workshop for the newly elected University of Nairobi Students Association (UNSA) leaders for the 2025/2026 academic year. The workshop took place at the KCB Leadership Centre in Karen and brought together student leaders from the Council and congress representatives from all campuses to equip them with essential leadership skills and institutional knowledge.

On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, thirty students from the University of Nairobi were honored with the prestigious Chinese Ambassador Scholarships during a vibrant award ceremony held at the university’s Taifa Hall. The scholarships, awarded annually by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Kenya, aim to recognize academic excellence, foster educational cooperation, and strengthen the long-standing friendship between China and Kenya.

The Office of Career Services organized a work-readiness Career Clinic for Kenya Science Campus students on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at NLT Hall, Kenya Science Campus. Over 150 students attended the career clinic.
