As a way of enhancing student support services, the University of Nairobi's Office of the Dean of Students spearheaded a comprehensive training program for Peer Counselors. From April 22 to April 26, 2024, the university organized training sessions across all faculties, equipping 500 peer counselors with essential skills and knowledge.
Through the University's commitment to equip the newly elected University of Nairobi Students Association (UNSA) leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively fulfill their roles, the Office of the Dean of Students organized a specialized training that was conducted at the Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE) on March 2, 2024. This training served as a platform to familiarize the leaders with their responsibilities and to establish a rapport with university staff.
The Office of Career Services has organized a career fair and expo targeting university and high school students.
