 AIESEC held a forum on 22nd M,ay, 2017 at the Gandhi Wing Grounds to mark the AIESEC week .The forum showcased the various products the club offers and how the products create an impact in our society. It was also a forum to introduce  FLIT (Financial Literacy and Information Technology) forum.FLIT will be a 2-day conference open to a delegation of students from all Universities in Nairobi.During the forum, students willbe provided with guidance and advise on financial sustainability through technology.

The University of Nairobi held the 7th open day event at the main campus from Thursday 25th May to Saturday 27th May. The aim of the three day event is to give an opportunity to potential students, parents, guardians and stakeholders to learn more about the University and the different programmes offered.

The Campus Forum was successfully conducted in conjunction with the Organization of African Youths (OAY). Dr. B. O. Arimi, Founder Director Fitness and Stable Health Foundation, Prof. Parita Shah, a lecturer and Mr. Ngere, a student were the panelists.

The JIACTIVATE Forum was a wakeup call on the youths to actively engage in societal affairs. We learnt that on issues of unemployment, corruption, food security and health the advancement of the society is highly dependent upon youth participation.

The University Students Initiative to Society (USIS) will on the 27th May, 2017, Saturday be visiting the Oloolua Institute of Primate Research for the day.

The club's activities are geared towards promotion of edu-tourism, environmental sustenance and community empowerment.

Some of the activities they shall be engaged in include:

  1. Tree Planting
  2. Basic training on primate research
  3. Clean up along the nature trail

20 students drawn from the six colleges have benefitted from the Chinese Ambassador Scholarship. The scholarships were awarded to the deserving students by the Chinese Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Liu Xianfa in a ceremony held at UON on November 14, 2016.
