In the middle of 2019, the Office of DVC Research, Innovation and Enterprise mooted publishing the Kenya Policy Briefs as a strategic vehicle to bridge the gap between research output from academia and Kenyan policymakers.

Although three months late, the electronic submission, review, and dissemination platform is now fully operational and online, and the first issue, Volume 1, Issue  1, January 2020, has now been published.
