SH100 MILLION FOR ARTISTS OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED ON MONDAY 11TH MAY 2020

Sports and Culture Cabinet Secretary (CS) Amb Amina Mohammed on Monday officially launched the Sh100 Million stimulus package for artists, actors, and musicians.

Speaking during the launch at the Kenya National Theater, CS Amina Mohammed noted that the Sh100M stimulus package for artistes will run for a period of 3 months from May to July 2020, and will be spearheaded by various state agencies and sports organizations.

UoN LEADS THE OVERALL UNIVERSITY GRADUATE EMPLOYABILITY RANKING IN KENYA

Several Kenyan bosses reportedly prefer the University of Nairobi (UoN) graduates, according to recent research. The research found out that those who passed through UoN had a 38% chance of landing jobs.

Others included Kenyatta University (30%), Technical University (10%), Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (19%). Egerton and Maseno tied with 18%.

Dubbed "The State of Graduate Employability in Kenya," the study was conducted between November 2019 and January 2020, and undertaken by CPS International.
