The Ministry of Health confirmed the first case of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nairobi, on the 12th March 2020, the first one to be reported in Kenya since the beginning of the outbreak in China in December 2019.

E-learning modules have been uploaded on the UoN learning management system. The modules include common courses, training and short courses, BA of Education (science), BA Arts, M.Ed Administration, Masters in Religious Studies among others. Log on to e-class.uonbi.ac.ke to access these modules relevant to you for study and revision for your exams.

The modules can be be downloaded on a computer or smart phone. The plus is that the content is also available in an offline mode in the learning management system.

Facebook, and a group of telecom companies including China Mobile International, MTN GlobalConnect, Orange and Vodafone, are collaborating to build the “most comprehensive” subsea cable to serve the African continent and Middle East region where nearly a billion people are still offline.
