On Thursday 28th May,2020, President Kenyatta signed into law the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (Amendment) Bill of 2019 at State House. Justin Muturi, Speaker of the National Assembly, Leader of Majority in the National Assembly Aden Duale and Treasury CS Ukur Yattani attended the signing ceremony among others such as Attorney General Paul Kihara, Joseph Kinyua - Head of Public Service,Njee Muturi - State House Deputy Chief of Staff,Michael Sialai - National Assembly Clerk.

The National Research Fund (NRF) is a statutory body established by Science, Technology and Innovation Act No. 28 of 2013. The institution is domiciled under the Ministry of Education, State Department for University Education & Research. The Fund is mandated to facilitate research for the advancement of Science, Technology and Innovation in the country.

The University of Nairobi or commonly known as UoN is one of the largest public universities in Kenya located in the heart of the city, Nairobi led by the Vice Chancellor. The VC is the academic and administrative head of the University and is responsible to the Council for maintaining and promoting the academic image and maintaining and promoting the efficiency and good order of the University. It is therefore, with great pleasure we have the Virtual Installation of the 8th VC of the University of Nairobi on the 5th June 2020 at Taifa Hall at 10:00am.
