As part of the UoN@50 celebrations, the School of Mathematics virtually hosts a weekly mathematics seminar for the whole of Africa. The goal of the seminar is building mathematical networks across Africa and showcasing African mathematical talent.

The next talk at Africa Mathematics Seminar on Wednesday 25, 2020 by Field Medalist: Prof. Andrei Okounkov will be interesting to both mathematicians and Physicists.

The University of Nairobi , UNHCR and Windle International Kenya (WIK) signed a collaborative agreement recently. The UNHCR and  WIK have partnered with UoN to support 158 students to undertake their studies at UoN. The WIK has some limited funding to support additional needy refugee students this year under a supplementary budget.
