UNSA 2023 Leadership Induction

The newly elected leaders of the University of Nairobi Students Association (UNSA) gathered at the KCB Leadership Forum Centre in Karen for their induction. The event, organized by the Office of the Dean of Students, was aimed at orienting the leaders on their roles and responsibilities as well as discussing ways in which they can work together with the University to improve student welfare.

UoN establishes Gender Mainstreaming Section, appoints new head

The University of Nairobi has taken a bold step towards gender equity by establishing a Gender mainstreaming section and appointing Dr. Grace N. Kiringa as its head. The appointment, made by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Stephen Kiama, comes as a clear indication of the university's commitment to promoting gender equality among its faculties, staff, and students.

Celebrating Student Lisa Wele's Table Tennis Success

Lisa Wele, a Second-year student of the University of Nairobi, Faculty of Arts and social sciences is among the four Kenyan ladies listed for the upcoming Africa Festival of Table Tennis that is scheduled to take place from 1st may 2023 to 6th May 2023 at Kasarani. Lisa, who had recently represented Kenya in the Eastern Regional Qualifiers made it to the list due to her exceptional performance and commitment in her past encounters. During a recent interview, Lisa shared her excitement on being selected to participate in the upcoming Africa Festival of Table Tennis.
